12-year-old shot after throwing snowball at car in Connecticut

According to authorities, a 12-year-old in Hartford, Connecticut, was shot Wednesday night after hurling a snowball at a car.

According to authorities, the boy was tossing snowballs with an 11-year-old when one of them struck a car. At a news conference on Thursday, Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert stated that the automobile chased the children around the block and shot at them.

According to him, the 12-year-old’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Gunfire did not hit the 11-year-old.

Boisvert remarked, “It could have been a lot worse,”

Authorities are searching for the car and checking into the incident. The number of people in the car is unknown to the police.

Police are also examining local video, according to Boisvert.

On Thursday, Boisvert did not provide an update on the child’s health.The infant was brought to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, according to NBC Connecticut.
