(WNY News Now) – A stabbing incident on Syracuse’s South Side left a 54-year-old man injured, prompting a police investigation in the early hours of Saturday.
SYRACUSE, NY – In the early hours of Saturday, November 9, 2024, Syracuse Police responded to a report of a stabbing at University Hospital after a 54-year-old male walked in seeking treatment for multiple stab wounds. Officers arrived at the hospital, located at 750 East Adams Street, around 5:37 a.m., where the man was receiving medical care for what appeared to be non-life-threatening lacerations.
According to Syracuse Police, the stabbing likely occurred near East Raynor Street and South Salina Street, a residential area on Syracuse’s South Side. While the motive behind the assault remains unclear, detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
