Jamestown Woman Arrested for Drug Possession After Found Passed Out in Vehicle in Falconer

(WNY News Now) After being found asleep in her car with methamphetamine in plain sight, a 46-year-old Jamestown woman is facing criminal charges.

New York’s Ellicott. When Town of Ellicott Police arrived to a well-being check in Falconer, New York, on November 23, 2024, at around 7:13 AM, they discovered Michelle L. Wasson, 46, of Jamestown, unconscious behind the wheel of her car. Officers found methamphetamine in the car in plain sight after conducting an investigation.

After being taken into custody, Wasson was accused of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled narcotic. After that, she was taken to the Ellicott Police Department (EPD) for further investigation. In order to respond to the charge, the Jamestown woman is expected to appear in the Town of Ellicott court later. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
