In an email on Monday, a Boulder, Colorado, police spokeswoman stated that it is clear that the agency wants to resolve this matter and that the victim’s rights are the sole justification.

The Boulder police spokeswoman referred to a video statement from last week in which Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn stated that he and everyone else who has worked on JonBen’s case would love nothing more than to bring justice to her memory.
