Bench Warrant Arrest in Delevan Leads to Transfer of Suspect

(WNY News Now) A resident of Delevan was arrested after a bench warrant for a violation of the Family Court Act was issued.

DELEVAN, NY Daryl J. Myers, 54, was arrested by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office at his home on Delevan Avenue on November 26, 2024, at around 1:02 a.m. An active bench warrant for a Family Court Act violation led to the arrest.

After being taken into custody, Mr. Myers was taken to 12213 Olean Road in Yorkshire, New York, where he was turned over to Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office officials for additional legal action. Wyoming County Family Court issued the warrant, and Myers is anticipated to appear there to answer the infraction.

No bail was set at the moment of arrest, and the charges were described in detail under Penal Law 530.70(03). The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
