‘Duck Dynasty’ patriarch Phil Robertson has Alzheimer’s, family says

According to his kids, “Duck Dynasty” alum Phil Robertson has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

This Friday’s episode of the ‘Unashamed with the Robertson Family’ podcast revealed that the 78-year-old family patriarch was also diagnosed with a blood disorder.

We were attempting to determine the diagnosis, but the doctors claimed he had some type of blood illness that was producing all kinds of issues. I believe I mentioned this on the 1000th podcast,” Jase Robertson stated.

Al Robertson went on to say that although Phil has had the blood condition for years, it has recently become more severe.

“We ve got a team of doctors, and then we have another set of doctors who are looking at all the tests, and they re all in agreement, that there s no curing what he has,” Jase explained.

Jase went on to say that Phil still wants to participate to the family podcast and that his Alzheimer’s disease is still in its early stages.

I say, “Well, Phil, your memory isn’t what it used to be, and you can hardly move without screaming in agony.” “Tell me about it,” he says. According to Jase, he is literally unable to, but I believe he would consent to simply sit down and talk.

Beginning the Christian podcast ‘Unashamed’ in 2018, the family of hunters was the main cast of ‘Duck Dynasty’ from 2012 to 2017.
