(WNY News Now) – The Jamestown Fire Department is currently battling a house fire on Crescent Street in Jamestown.
Jamestown, N.Y. – A house fire has erupted at 539 Crescent Street in Jamestown and the Jamestown Fire Department is currently working to subdue the blaze. Flames were spotted emanating from the roof of the residence, and thick clouds of smoke are covering the surrounding area.
The Jamestown Police Department has blocked off sections of Crescent Street while the Fire Department works to contain and snuff out the flames.
The effort to extinguish the fire is ongoing, and more updates will be provided as they are made available.
