DWI Arrest Following Single-Vehicle Crash in Sheridan

(WNY News Now) Sheridan, NY On the evening of December 8, a Jamestown man was arrested for driving under the influence after a single-vehicle collision on Route 20 in the Town of Sheridan.

Around 6:18 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office officials arrived at the scene of the collision. After an investigation, it was discovered that the driver, Ross P. Abram, 32, of Jamestown, was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

Abram was accused of moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and driving with a blood alcohol content of.08% or above. With attendance tickets for the Town of Sheridan Court at a later time, he was later freed. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
