Support Chautauqua County 4-H at the 11th Annual Green Tie Affair Fundraiser!

(WNY News Now) Put February 23, 2025, on your calendars and come celebrate with us at the 11th Annual Green Tie Affair, which will help Chautauqua County 4-H.

Chautauqua County 4-H is thrilled to announce the date of the 11th Annual Green Tie Affair Fundraiser in Jamestown, New York!

The Chautauqua Harbor Hotel will host the event on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Last year, this location was brand-new to us, and it hosted us brilliantly. We’re excited for another year at this fantastic location!

There will be a bake sale and basket raffle to kick off the celebrations at 3:00 pm. The renowned pie auction will take place after dinner, which is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

The pies will be on exhibit at the event, and the pie list will be released before the event. This year, a gluten-free blueberry pie was supplied by Fredonia’s Om Nohm Bakery! With our pie auction, we can now be more inclusive, which excites us!

Sponsorships for tables are available! A sheet of raffle tickets, ten dinner tickets, a personalized table centerpiece, a placemat with their company card at the dinner, a social media and local print ad, and their name on our thank-you banner are all given to sponsors. In addition to being available by phone at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office, table sponsor information has been mailed to individuals who have previously sponsored.

Additionally, tickets can be purchased separately from the full table. Tickets are available for $25 each in advance or $30 at the door. Last year, door tickets were sold out, so visit the Extension Office to get yours now!

This is 4-H’s biggest fundraising event of the year. About 300 children and 150 adults were touched by 4-H last year through club programming and livestock education, 600 fifth-grade children were reached through our Conservation Field Day, and more than 500 children were reached through special interest 4-H programming, like Leaf Junior programs. More than 3600 adolescents with in-school experiences and more than 200 youth with after-school experiences were also reached.

We hope to see you at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel on February 23rd for the Green Tie Affair!
