Megan Thee Stallion seeks Tory Lanez restraining order, alleges harassment from prison

Rapper Meghan Thee Stallion is requesting a restraining order against Tory Lanez, claiming that he has been harassing her remotely via social media and by “utilizing third parties.”

Megan Pete, 29, submitted a request to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday. Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, has “traumatized” Megan since 2020, according to the petition, and “shows no signs of stopping.”

“Mr. Peterson is a violent and dangerous criminal, and his established pattern of behavior demonstrates the reasons this civil harassment restraining order is necessary to protect Ms. Pete and her wellbeing,” it states.

After being found guilty and given a 10-year term for shooting Megan in the feet on July 10, 2020, Lanez, 32, is presently incarcerated at the California Correctional Institution in Southern California. The conviction has being appealed.

The petition claims that Mr. Peterson “continues to terrorize Ms. Pete even from behind bars.”

Megan was charged by Lanez’s non-profit organization with lying.

“As a culture, when do we cease to accept the story they are promoting? And we question ourselves if this is sufficient. In a statement shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Unite the People stated, “We are confident in our case and trust that the truth will be thoroughly investigated and proven through the legal process.”

Lanez is accused in the petition of disseminating false information about Megan by utilizing “third party online bloggers” that he hires. According to the petition, one blogger, Milagro Cooper, made false claims regarding Megan and the criminal prosecution involving Lanez on YouTube and other media. Cooper—real name Milagro Gramz—is accused of being Lanez’s “puppet and mouthpiece.”

In October, Megan filed a civil complaint against the blogger. Cooper’s lawyer was not immediately available for comment on the petition.

Additionally, the petition claims that Lanez’s prison call logs reveal his plot to undermine Megan’s character. During a call, Lanez’s father inquired about monies he believed Cooper had received “for her harassment of Ms. Pete.”

“How are they ever going to prove something like that?” was supposedly Lanez’s response.

Lanez’s persistent harassment, according to the petition, has caused Megan “severe emotional distress and reputational harm.”

“Mr. Peterson is fully aware of the impact of the psychological warfare he has waged against Ms. Pete, yet he continues to deputize his supporters to attack Ms. Pete s character and integrity,” it reads.
