Major Drug Bust in Dunkirk: Meth, Fentanyl, Cocaine Seized in Multi-Agency Operation

After a two-month narcotics investigation, a search warrant was executed at 107 Lincoln Ave., leading to several arrests and the discovery of drugs, money, and paraphernalia (WNY News Now).

DUNKIRK, NY On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at around 7:27 a.m., law enforcement carried out a search warrant at 107 Lincoln Ave., Lower Apartment, in a determined attempt to stop local drug activities. Significant outcomes were obtained from the operation, which was coordinated by the Jamestown Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, and Dunkirk Police.

9.9 grams of methamphetamine, 5.4 grams of fentanyl, cocaine, scales, packing tools, and $5,634 in cash were found by investigators. Four people were arrested as a result of the operation on drug-related charges:

    and

    Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd

  • Juan Ortiz

    , 41, Dunkirk: Charged with

    Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th

    and an outstanding arrest warrant from Fredonia.

The Dunkirk Police Department received all of the accused, who were then arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.

Building inspectors from the City of Dunkirk assessed the property throughout the operation and declared it uninhabitable, condemning the space.
