Two Men Charged with Public Lewdness Following Downtown Hotel Incident

(WNY News Now) Two men have been arrested for allegedly acting inappropriately toward hotel employees after a strange complaint was made at a hotel in Jamestown.

A report of two male guests reportedly exposing themselves to hotel personnel prompted officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon to react to a downtown hotel on the evening of December 19, 2024.

Following an investigation, authorities determined that the victims were Amos W. Turner III, 68, of Alfred, and Thomas E. Odell, 54, of Jamestown. Authorities claim that the guys asked hotel employees to deliver things to their room, and when they did, the suspects unclothedly opened the door. According to reports, one of the men was seen acting inappropriately.

When the people allegedly welcomed the employee into the room and kept calling the hotel’s front desk to ask for more help until the cops showed up, the situation became more heated.

At the scene, both guys were arrested and accused of public lewdness. Following their transfer, they are being held at the Jamestown City Jail until their arraignment in Jamestown City Court. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
