Man Arrested Following Domestic Incident in Yorkshire

(WNY News Now) Deputies Address Threatening, Choking, and Assault Behavior

Yorkshire David J. Baker Jr., 37, was arrested following a NYA domestic dispute on Bolton Road in the Town of Yorkshire. He is currently facing several charges, including Third Degree Assault, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, and Second Degree Aggravated Harassment.

Deputies were sent to the location early on Saturday morning, December 7, 2024, following a report of a domestic dispute, according to Sheriff Eric A. Butler’s office. Following an inquiry, it was found that Baker Jr. had threatened the victim, choked them, and assaulted them.

After being arrested and charged in the Town of Yorkshire Court, Baker Jr. was freed on his own recognizance. Baker is expected to appear in court again later to answer the accusations. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
