Major Drug Bust in Great Valley Leads to Two Arrests, Weapons Seized

(WNY News Now) Several charges are brought after a search request in the Great Valley turns up methamphetamine, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and a handgun.

When law enforcement officers carried out a search warrant at 4228 Bear Hollow Road in the Town of Great Valley on December 17, 2024, at around 9:45 PM, they found a handgun and illegal drugs. With support from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (CCSO SRT), the Southern Tier Regional Task Force (STRDTF) spearheaded the operation.

The house was allegedly being utilized for the selling of illegal substances, according to the inquiry. Officers found a 30-30 rifle and a quantity of suspected methamphetamine during the search. A pair of people were arrested in relation to the results.

Great Valley resident David Dille, 51, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Buffalo resident Nathaniel Dubois II, 49, was accused of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both suspects are still being held after being arraigned in Town of Ellicottville Court. Further charges could be pending as the investigation continues. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
