(WNY News Now) Allegany County authorities issued a probation warrant for the arrest of Kyle A. Atwater, 26, of Hinsdale, NY, in Olean on December 10, 2024.
New York’s Olean Kyle A. Atwater, 26, was taken into custody at around 1:21 a.m. by law enforcement officials in connection with a warrant issued by Allegany County Probation on December 10, 2024, after a probation warrant led them to his residence at 1 Leo Moss Dr.
Atwater was taken into custody for violating probation under CPL 530.70. After being processed, Atwater was turned over to Allegany County Sheriff’s deputies for additional legal action and released on his own recognizance.
Atwater is anticipated to face additional proceedings as part of the current prosecution, and the arrest was executed without incident. On December 16, 2024, he is scheduled to appear in court to respond to the allegations. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
