(WNY News Now) When police arrived at a Persia home after a late-night 911 hang-up, they discovered a domestic dispute and charged a 25-year-old male.
PERSIA, NY According to Sheriff Eric A. Butler, 25-year-old Brandon Tackentien was arrested late Monday night after a domestic dispute at his residence on Route 353.
At 11:58 p.m. on December 9, 2024, a 911 call was answered by police after the line cut off with the sound of yelling coming from the background. When cops arrived, they spoke with a frightened woman who had called, made sure she and her seven-week-old boy were okay, and took them out of the house.
Tackentien faces charges of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, menacing in the second degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.
After being detained and processed, Tackentien was arraigned in the Town of Persia Court. The victim and her baby son were given an Order of Protection. Tackentien is expected to appear in court again later.
The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
