East Otto Larceny Leads to Arrest: Little Valley Woman Accused of Theft from Local Business

(WNY News Now) – Kristin P. Green, 29, of Little Valley, NY, faces a charge of petit larceny after allegedly taking cash from a business in East Otto.

East Otto, N.Y. – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported an arrest following a larceny incident on East Otto Springville Road in East Otto, NY. According to Sheriff Eric A. Butler, deputies responded to a call at approximately 12:46 PM on November 1, 2024, after receiving reports of theft from a local business.

Following an investigation, deputies determined that Kristin P. Green had taken U.S. currency without payment. Green, who resides on Krager Hill Road in Little Valley, NY, was subsequently arrested and charged with petit larceny under New York Penal Law 155.25.

After processing at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Green was released with an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of East Otto Court at a future date before Judge Young. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
