Fort Mill School District Announces Closures and eLearning Transition Due to Winter Weather

Fort Mill, South CarolinaDue to a forecast of potentially dangerous winter weather, the Fort Mill School District (FMSD) has announced that all schools and district facilities will be closed on Friday, January 10. The area is expected to see snow and ice, according to the National Weather Service, which raises concerns about dangerous driving conditions for both drivers and bus passengers.

The district underlined its dedication to guaranteeing the safety of kids and staff throughout this weather event in a message sent to families and staff. Schools will therefore switch to eLearning for the day, with each school providing detailed instructions on classes and homework.
