Dayton Man Arrested for Criminal Trespass in Cattaraugus County

(WNY News Now) After looking into an incident on Cabic Road, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Dayton man on criminal trespass charges.

Dayton, New York. Deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a trespassing report on Cabic Road in the Town of Dayton, New York, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at around 8:50 a.m.

Investigators found that 31-year-old Andrew J. Woodarek had entered a fenced property without authorization. After the investigation, Woodarek was taken into custody and accused of third-degree criminal trespass, which is a misdemeanor in New York State.

After being processed on the spot, Woodarek was given an appearance ticket and released. To answer to the accusations, he is expected to appear in Town of Dayton Court later.

The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
