South Carolina Federal Credit Union Opens Applications for $45,000 in Scholarships

With the official inauguration of its 15th annual scholarship program, South Carolina Federal Credit Union is giving $45,000 to nine worthy students throughout the state. High school and undergraduate students who intend to enroll in a regular or technical college in South Carolina for the fall semester of 2025 are eligible to apply. Applications are due on January 31 at 11:59 p.m. EST, and the winners will be revealed in April 2025.

Encouraging Students to Volunteer

A brief essay outlining how their education would enable them to have a positive influence on their communities and enhance the lives of South Carolinians must be submitted by applicants. They also have to include details about their career experience, volunteer activity, academic accomplishments, and financial necessity.

Qualifications for Eligibility

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible for the scholarship:

Be a student in high school or college.

Keep your unweighted GPA at 3.0 or above.

Have a valid U.S. residency
