Pennsylvania Man Arrested for DWI After Single-Vehicle Accident in Great Valley

(WNY News Now) After a single-vehicle collision in Great Valley, New York, a Pennsylvania man is charged with several offenses, including driving under the influence.

Following a car accident in the Town of Great Valley on January 14, 2025, Jeffrey J. Lencioni II, 50, of Meadville, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

At at 4:03 p.m., deputies arrived at the scene in Snow Pine Village and discovered Lencioni’s car off the road with the transmission still in reverse. Lencioni acknowledged being the driver at the time of the collision while he was outside the car.

Deputies looked into it and found evidence of intoxication. Lencioni was arrested and charged with dangerous lane movement, refusing to take a breathalyzer, and driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Lencioni’s right to drive in New York State was taken away because he refused to submit to a chemical test. He is expected to appear in the Town of Great Valley Court later after being released on appearance tickets.

The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
