Driver Injured After Pickup Truck Slides Off Snowy Road in Mansfield

(WNY News Now) One motorist suffered minor injuries after losing control of a pickup truck in a wintry morning collision on Mansfield’s Otto-Maples Road.

On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at around 6:56 a.m., the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene of a single-vehicle collision on Otto-Maples Road in Mansfield.

The crash report states that Camryn D. Thompson was operating a 1995 Ford truck when it lost traction on the mushy, snow-covered road. The truck hit a tree after sliding off the road.

Thompson was slightly hurt in the incident. For assessment and treatment, his mother took him to a neighboring hospital.
