(WNY News Now) After helping with a disabled vehicle on Bakerstand Road, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Olean man for driving a car with a revoked driver’s license.
Franklinville, New York Levi T. Ward, 28, of Olean, New York, was arrested by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office after an inquiry into a disabled car on Bakerstand Road in Franklinville on the evening of January 18, 2025.
At at 7:06 p.m., authorities arrived on the scene. Deputies discovered throughout the inquiry that Ward had been driving a different car even though his driver’s license had been revoked. According to New York State law, Ward was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a serious misdemeanor.
Ward was taken into custody, processed, and released on appearance tickets, according to Sheriff Eric A. Butler. He will address the charges when he appears in Franklinville Town Court later.
The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
