(WNY News Now)CHARLOTTE, NY After a months-long drug investigation in the Town of Charlotte, a search warrant was executed at 6175 Rt 60, and a Sinclairville lady was arrested on several drug and handgun charges.The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office took the picture.
On January 29, 2025, at around 9:15 a.m., narcotics investigators from the Jamestown Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department, and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office carried out the warrant. Authorities found more than $400 in cash, a weapon, drug packaging supplies, and 78.6 grams of methamphetamine during the search.
Nichole L. Olmstead, 42, was charged with the following when she was at the house:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd
(Class A-II felony) -
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd
(Class B felony) -
Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd
(Class A misdemeanor) -
Criminal Possession of a Firearm
(Class E felony)
Olmstead was sent for a consolidated arraignment to the Chautauqua County Jail. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
