HARRISBURG — On Sunday, Attorney General Dave revealed that a former youth baseball instructor in the area was found guilty by a Franklin County jury of dozens of sexual assault charges related to acts against three children and two adults.

Waynesboro resident Justin Biser, 45, was convicted on Thursday of 65 charges, including invasion of privacy, CSAM, sexual assault, and indecent assault.

According to testimony presented during the three-day trial earlier this week, Biser targeted young people from 2021 through 2023, getting close to them through his position as a coach.

Attorney General Sunday said, “I commend the jurors for reaching a just verdict, and the courageous survivors of this heinous conduct refused to let the defendant avoid accountability.” The defendant violated the trust that the survivors placed in him as a mentor and role model. My office will keep up its pledge to keep vulnerable individuals and children safe from predators.

Prosecutors claim that Biseras assaulted two girls in 2022 and 2023. Before he sexually assaulted one of the females, he gave her booze. When the other girl fell asleep in his house, he attacked her.

After videotaping one of the other victims, he later instructed a family member to destroy the digital records while incarcerated.
