Grammy Awards 2025 guide: How to watch, time, date, performers, nominees, channel, streaming and more

The show must continue in the entertainment sector.

This is why Sunday’s Grammys, the first awards show since the January wildfires in Los Angeles, are going according to schedule at the Crypto.com Arena.

The awards show’s sponsor, the Recording Academy, announced in a news release that this year’s presentation “will be reimagined to raise funds to support wildfire relief efforts and aid music professionals impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles.”

Here are some additional details on the 67th Grammy Awards.

Trevor Noah hosts (again)

Even though hosting award shows is one of the most unappreciated positions in Hollywood, comedian Trevor Noah seems unfazed.

The awards presentation will be hosted by the former host of “The Daily Show” for the fifth year in a row. On X, he posted a behind-the-scenes video of himself exploring the performance space.

With 11 nominations, Beyonc leads the Grammys for Cowboy Carter. With 99 nominations overall, she is currently the most nominated artist in Grammy history. Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Taylor Swift are among the other candidates.

Nominees Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan are set to perform

The lineup also features John Legend, Janelle Mone, Brad Paisley, Chris Martin, Brittany Howard, Herbie Hancock, Jacob Collier, Lainey Wilson, RAYE, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, Teddy Swims, Cynthia Erivo (who recently received an Oscar nomination for “Wicked”), Billie Eilish, Stevie Wonder, Shakira, and John Legend.

The late Quincy Jones is being honored

The Recording Academy announced that in addition to the yearly In Memoriam portion, there would be a star-studded homage to Jones’ life and achievements and musical tributes to the city of Los Angeles.

At the age of 91, Jones passed away quietly from pancreatic cancer at his Bel Air home in November.

With 80 nominations and 28 victories in categories like album of the year, record of the year, and producer of the year, Jones cemented his status as an industry legend over the course of his career.

Wildfire relief efforts are part of the show, but not the whole focus

Some organizations, such as Universal Music Group, Sony, Spotify, BMG, and Warner Music Group, canceled their events around the awards show due to the January wildfires and instead shifted their focus to local relief efforts.

The awards show’s sponsor, the Recording Academy, streamlined its pre-Grammy week schedule into four events, each of which included a fundraising component.

According to organizers, the celebration will honor firefighters and other emergency personnel who have been instrumental in responding to the wildfires in Los Angeles. However, executive producer Ben Winston informed The New York Times that it will still be the Grammy Awards. We continue to reflect on an amazing year of music. Performances that would have been part of the show’s January 1 planning are still happening. Naturally, though, we are now considering what is happening in Los Angeles.

Harvey Mason Jr., the CEO of the Recording Academy, had a similar viewpoint in a recent interview with The Associated Press, claiming that it would not have helped to cancel the Grammys in the midst of the horrific wildfires in California. Rather, the Recording Academy chose to use the Grammys’ popularity to redirect it toward aiding victims of wildfires, Mason said.
