Following an episode in which Rogan suggested that Ukrainian and American officials were going to initiate World War III, Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko, a longstanding boxing champion regarded as one of the greatest heavyweights ever, accused podcaster Joe Rogan of repeating Russian propaganda.
The host of the Joe Rogan Experience on Friday expressed his disapproval of President Joe Biden’s decision to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles supplied by the United States to attack Russia, saying he didn’t feel secure about them firing missiles into Russia.
When you’re leaving, how are you permitted to do that? According to Rogan, “the people don’t want you there anymore.” There ought to be a pause of some kind for important measures that might trigger World War III. Perhaps it would be best for us to stay away from a dying former president.
Rogan went on to criticize Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, citing a presidential speech in which Zelenskyy said that Putin is afraid after ballistic missiles were fired into Ukraine last Thursday in response to Ukraine’s attack on Russia earlier that week.
According to Zelenskyy, Putin is afraid. F— you, dude. F— you everyone. Rogan declared, “You F—ing people are going to start World War III.”
Zelenskyy was even charged by Rogan with delivering numerous blows.
This behavior resembles that of cocaine. Russian President Vladimir Putin is frightened, guy. We managed to get him.
We have him, dude, we have him. For example, what are you discussing? He possesses nuclear weapons. Rogan said, “You f—-ing monkeys.”
Russian propagandists have already spread false information about Zelenskyy through a disinformation effort from the Russian propaganda outfit Storm-1516 and a widely circulated digitally edited video in which Zelenskyy seems to claim to use cocaine. Pro-Russian propagandists also lured celebrities last year into making paid Cameo films that were manipulated to suggest Zelenskyy had a drug issue.
The retired Ukrainian boxer Klitschko responded by sending Rogan a video on X, which as of Monday had received 11 million views. He referred to Rogan’s remarks as Russian propaganda.
In his video, Klitschko stated, “So let me tell you that you’re repeating Russian propaganda when you talk about these American weapons being sent to Ukraine, which you believe will lead to the Third World War.” They want to scare you and those like you because Putin’s Russia is in jeopardy. Three days was the estimated duration of his war. Because to the bravery and sacrifice of we Ukrainians, it has endured for three years. Propaganda is the only weapon Putin truly plans to deploy, and it seriously undermines our democracies.
Klitschko ends his video by inviting Rogan to appear on his podcast, stating that the two could talk about his differences like free men.
Later, Rogan’s podcast’s X account responded to Klitschko’s video by writing Does anyone understand this, or is this merely an effort to be featured on the podcast? In response, Klitschko stated that the Fear Factor is the inability to share your thoughts and facts with another public person of the country you have an opinion about. We wouldn’t meet in the boxing ring; we would only meet in the podcast ring. Come on, let’s do it! For what reason are you waiting?
From 2008 until 2015, Klitschko held titles from the World Boxing Organization, the International Boxing Federation, and the International Boxing Organization. The former boxer retired in 2017 after going undefeated from 2004 to 2015. Vitali Klitschko, Klitschko’s brother and a former heavyweight champion, is currently the mayor of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
Dmytro Kuleba, the former foreign minister of Ukraine, responded to Rogan’s remarks as well, stating in an X post, Hello @joerogan, it’s unfair to attack Ukrainians without giving them an opportunity to speak. Let’s get together and discuss anything and everything pertaining to Ukraine, even dragons, if you ever feel like having a genuine conversation. I know my stuff; you know yours. I’m smoking cigars.
We voted Trump in, and his concept is to halt all this sh–, and hopefully he can do that, Rogan added in his Friday episode, expressing his belief that President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration would lessen future hostilities between Russia and Ukraine.
Rogan, who had previously featured Trump as a guest on his podcast, endorsed him the day before the election.
In reference to the Trump administration, Zelenskyy recently stated that he thought the war in Ukraine will end sooner under the policies of the team that will now run the White House, according to CNN.
