According to officials, a guy from Arizona was arrested after he allegedly uploaded footage of himself threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump and Trump family members while brandishing an AR-15-style gun online.
According to prosecution documents filed in federal court in Arizona, Manuel Tamayo-Torres posted videos on a “near-daily basis” accusing Trump and the president-elect’s family members of kidnapping and sex-trafficking his children. According to the docs, one video was taken at the location of a Trump rally that took place on August 23 at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale.
Although Trump’s name is not mentioned in the documents, “Individual 1” is described as a past president and current president-elect.
According to the court filings, Tamayo-Torres gives a frightening but ambiguous threat in a video that was uploaded to Facebook on November 13 and shows what looks to be a white AR-15-style rifle with a 30-round magazine.
From a great distance, you can see [Individual l]… According to court filings, he stated, “As soon as I hear that leave that barrel, I’m already on the foot run after you [Individual 1].” Additionally, [Individual 1] removed all of these young guys and their badges from the books. With a lot of gear, including a gun, an AR, and a 50 caliber, they are unable to go quickly.
In addition, Tamayo-Torres uploaded a video on November 21 in which she declared that Trump’s “whole family is going to die,” as per the charges.
He went on to say on the video, “You’re Caucasian nothing,” “You won’t get paid. All you have is Aryan money. You’re a bottom-up jerk. I’ll spit in your f.I’m going to f—–g bury you myself if they give me the chance. —–g face motherf—er.”
On Monday, Tamayo-Torres was taken into custody in Southern California. A request for comment was not immediately answered by his attorney.
He was accused of four charges of making false statements when purchasing a firearm and one count of threatening the president-elect.
In 2003, Tamayo-Torres was found guilty of felony assault and given a five-year sentence in a California state prison. According to the court documents, his ex-wife served him with an order of protection last year.
