Aubrey Plaza speaks out on late husband Jeff Baena’s death

Actress Aubrey Plaza discussed her husband, writer and director Jeff Baena, who passed away recently, on Monday.

In a statement on behalf of the Baena-Stern family, Plaza described the death of her late husband as an unfathomable sorrow.

We sincerely appreciate all of the assistance that we have received. During this period, please respect our privacy,” the statement read.

According to the Los Angeles County medical examiner, Baena, who co-wrote I Heart Huckabees and directed Life after Beth, committed suicide on Friday. His age was 47.

Plaza, 40, and Baena got married in 2021. The pair collaborated on a number of movies, including Life After Beth (2014), in which Plaza starred.
