A former body guard for Sean Combs has filed a defamation lawsuit against a woman who in September accused him of physically and sexually assaulting her in 2001. Joseph Sherman called the allegations in Thalia Graves’ lawsuit “utterly and entirely false,” in documents filed Thursday in federal court in Manhattan. He is also suing Graves’ attorneys, including Gloria Allred. Both women spoke at a news conference to discuss the lawsuit in September. They declined comment Monday. Officials in Wisconsin believe that a man who disappeared after kayaking at a lake this summer is alive and well, possibly faking his death and traveling to Europe — after taking out a life insurance policy and communicating with a woman from Uzbekistan. Ryan Borgwardt — a married father of two — went missing on Aug. 12 and his last known location was Green Lake, Green Lake County Sheriff Mark Podoll said during a news briefing Friday. Deputies found a capsized kayak in the lake and Borgwardt's vehicle and trailer parked in Dodge Memorial County Park, Podoll said. The Chicago Bears haven’t scored a touchdown in two weeks and have lost three straight games, and while head coach Matt Eberflus says changes are being weighed, he won’t announce them just yet. Thousands of Mattel’s “Wicked”-branded fashion dolls are flying off shelves, but not because of consumer demand. The toy company has been forced to pull its line of character dolls after a package misprint. Instead of listing the website for Universal’s “Wicked” movie, boxes featured a link to a pornographic website for a group called Wicked Pictures. “Mattel was made aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel Wicked collection dolls, primarily sold in the U.S., which intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com  landing page,” Mattel said in a statement. “We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this. A Spirit Airlines flight to Haiti was hit by gunfire on Monday, injuring a flight attendant, as the State Department warned of "gang-led efforts" to stop travel to the country. Spirit released a statement confirming that one of its flights from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, was diverted to the Dominican Republic on Monday. It said that an inspection of the aircraft showed damage consistent with gunfire. "One Flight Attendant on board reported minor injuries and is being evaluated by medical personnel," the statement said. "No Guest injuries were reported." Spirit said it is suspending its services to Haiti pending "evaluation" of the incident and that the plane was being taken out of service for the time being.
