(WNY News Now) Chautauqua County 4-H is inviting kids ages 9 to 18 to participate in a practical sewing program at the JCC Carnahan Center. During the program, participants will sew boxes and pillowcases while gaining useful life skills. JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK – The Chautauqua County 4-H Leaf Jr. program is welcoming young people aged 9 to 18 to a two-class series on sewing at the Carnahan Center on the JCC Campus! The inaugural class will take place at the Carnahan Center on the JCC Campus on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Nancy Johnson, a 4-H volunteer, will assist students in creating a sewing box to hold a basic sewing kit. Top MSNBC anchors, executives, and network employees were informed of the news Tuesday morning by Jones, who became the first Black executive to head a major U.S. television news network. (NBCUniversal owns both MSNBC and NBC News.) The interim president of MSNBC was Rebecca Kutler, senior vice president of content strategy for the network. Jones, who brought Kutler on board in 2022, intends to remain until March in an advisory capacity.
