Two people with knowledge of the situation told NBC News that Comcast is anticipated to reveal a plan on Wednesday to split off its cable networks into a different business. Some of NBCUniversal's most well-known brands, including as MSNBC, E!, Syfy, Golf Channel, USA, CNBC, and Oxygen, would be split off as a result of the split.
