According to someone with firsthand knowledge of the talks, Blake Snell has agreed to a five-year, $182 million deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the winners of the World Series.

Because he turned down a qualifying offer from San Diego last November, the Giants were not eligible to give Snell another one and won t receive draft-pick compensation.
