(WNY News Now) After a domestic altercation on the west side of the city, a Jamestown woman is charged with criminal mischief and tampering after she allegedly strewn trash throughout the house and seriously damaged many televisions. New York's Jamestown Officers from the Jamestown Police Department's Third Platoon were called to a domestic argument at a property on the west side on the evening of February 4, 2025. At around 11:51 p.m., the call was received regarding a reported incident between a 28-year-old victim and Kaitlin M. Webber, 22, of Jamestown. Brocton Man Arrested for Criminal Mischief and Menacing

Boston, New York (WNY News Now) After a fight that resulted in property damage on Tuesday night, a guy from Brocton was taken into custody. On February 4, 2025, at around 9:36 p.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office was called to a reported disturbance in the Village of Brocton. When deputies arrived, they recognized Michael Rodriguez Hernandez, age 26, as a suspect. Hernandez was found to have purposefully destroyed someone else's property during the altercation after an inquiry. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree menacing. Hernandez was sent for a consolidated arraignment at the Chautauqua County Jail. South Dayton Man Arrested for Felony DWI After Crash in Villenova

Villanova, New York (WNY News Now).After a single-vehicle collision in the Town of Villenova on Tuesday evening, a man from South Dayton was taken into custody on felony DWI charges. On February 4, 2025, at around 9:26 p.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office dispatched to a collision on Ball Hill Road. The driver was identified by deputies as Jesse S. Gens, age 31. Authorities concluded after an investigation that Gens was drunk when the collision occurred. Following his arrest, he was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, moving from a lane unsafely, and felony driving while intoxicated (DWI). Jamestown Man Sentenced to 13 Years in Federal Prison for Drug Conspiracy

Buffalo, New York (WNY News Now).Due to his involvement in a massive drug scheme, a Jamestown man will serve more than ten years in federal prison. U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross said that 55-year-old Roberto Morales Sanchez was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute 400 grams of fentanyl and more than one kilogram of heroin and was given a sentence of 156 months in prison. The punishment was imposed by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. According to the prosecution, Sanchez supplied co-conspirators Ryan Bloom and Rachelle Allison with drugs for distribution by purchasing and reselling heroin and fentanyl for financial gain. (WNY News Now) After a Sheriff's Office investigation, a Cattaraugus County man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child in Allegany, New York. Authorities said that 47-year-old John A. Kiernan was taken into custody on February 1, 2025, at around 6:00 p.m., in relation to an event that happened on January 31, 2025, at an Allegany address on Route 417.Kiernan was accused by deputies of two charges of harming a child's welfare. Kiernan was given a ticket for an appearance and is expected to show up in Town of Allegany Court later. Machias Man Arrested on Violation of Probation Warrant

(WNY News Now) The Cattaraugus County Superior Criminal Court issued an active warrant that led to the arrest of a 68-year-old man in Machias, New York. On January 27, 2025, Gene C. Tingue of Machias was arrested, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office. Tingue was captured by deputies at a Route 16 address at around 11:00 a.m. The arrest was related to a probationary warrant violation. Tingue was taken to the county jail after being processed by authorities without any problems. He is being detained while additional legal action is taken. Butler said a 63-year-old Ashford man was taken into custody in relation to an attempted assault and robbery that occurred earlier this month in the Town of Machias. After an investigation into an alleged assault at a Sunset Dr. house in Machias on January 14, authorities arrested James K. Denaro on January 31, 2025, at around 10:24 a.m. Investigators found that Denaro attacked the victim with a knife and tried to rob them. Denaro was charged with attempted first-degree robbery and second-degree assault and was processed and arraigned in the Town of Machias Court.
