Jamestown Man Arrested on Felony Charge for Violating Protection Order
(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man with a history of contempt charges is now facing a felony after being apprehended for violating a court-mandated protection order during a domestic dispute.Jamestown, N.Y. – On November 7, 2024, at approximately 8:54 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a reported domestic dispute at a residence on Jamestown’s East Side. Charles H. Karr Jr., a 50-year-old Jamestown resident, was found inside the home despite an active Stay Away Order of Protection requiring him to avoid contact with the female victim.Upon arrival, officers confirmed Karr’s presence in violation of the protective order.
