(WNY News Now) JAMESTOWN, NY A 25-year-old male was arrested on felony DWI and narcotics possession charges following a routine traffic stop in Jamestown early Sunday morning. On February 2, 2025, at around 12:02 a.m., officers from the third platoon of the Jamestown Police Department noticed a car driving without headlights close to Foote Avenue and Harrison Street. Isiah T. Fuentes was recognized as the driver when a traffic stop was undertaken. Fuentes was arrested right away after officers found that he was operating the vehicle while inebriated. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine after an additional search. Jamestown, New York (WNY News Now).A local man was arrested on drug-related charges early Monday following a routine traffic stop on Jamestown's west side. On February 3, 2025, at around two in the morning, officers from the 3rd Platoon made the stop, according to the Jamestown Police Department. Police discovered 21-year-old Kaleb D. Dean in possession of small clear plastic bags frequently used for packaging drugs, 2.2 grams of methamphetamine, and a digital scale that may have had drug residue on it during the investigation. Sherman, New York (WNY News Now).After a car accident in the Town of Sherman on Sunday night, a guy from Georgia was taken into custody for driving under the influence. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office reports that on February 2, 2025, at around 9:48 p.m., deputies arrived at the scene of a collision. It was discovered that the driver, Garrett M. Swan, 21, of Trenton, Georgia, was operating the vehicle while inebriated. Swan was charged with DWI, DWI Per Se, unsafe lane changes, and driving a car with an unsafe tire after an investigation. After being arrested, he was later given appearance tickets for the Town of Sherman Court and released. (WNY News Now) After a traffic check in the Town of Pomfret, a Dunkirk man was detained early Sunday morning on many offenses, including driving under the influence. At around 2:21 a.m. on February 2, deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office. It was discovered that the driver, Julian C. Martin, 21, of Dunkirk, was operating the vehicle while drunk. Martin was charged with DWI per se, DWI, and speeding in the zone after an investigation.He was placed under arrest and will later appear in Pomfret Town Court to respond to the accusations. (WNY News Now)CHAUTAUQUA, NY After allegedly escaping the scene of a crash in the Town of Chautauqua, a Pennsylvania man is facing several counts, including felony DWI. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office reports that on January 31 at around 4:29 p.m., deputies were called to a single-vehicle property damage collision near the junction of East Chautauqua Street and Honeysette Road. Officers found the motorist had fled the scene upon arrival, but they were able to find him in the vicinity. It was discovered that the driver, Chad Gantz, 43, of Union City, Pennsylvania, was inebriated. The Jamestown Police Department reports that at around 1:40 a.m. on January 31, officers from the 3rd Platoon pulled up a car for suspected traffic infractions close to the intersection of North Main Street and West 3rd Street. Police found methamphetamine and suboxone in the possession of the driver, Cheryl L. Tane, 59, during the course of the inquiry. After being arrested, she was sent to the Jamestown City Jail. (WNY News Now) On Monday night, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office arrested a 43-year-old man in Olean, New York, for violating the Family Court Act. Ronald J. Haynoski was taken into custody by the police on January 27 at around 10:18 p.m. in the vicinity of North 7th Street and Reed Street in Olean. Deputies verified that Cattaraugus County Family Court had issued him an active warrant. Prior to being remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail, Haynoski was arraigned in Allegany Town Court. On January 29, 2025, at around 9:01 a.m., deputies carried out the arrest warrant for Lance C. Lavallee, 42, at a home on South Street in Cattaraugus. After being safely arrested, Lavallee was transferred to the Cataraugus County Sheriff's Office for processing. Lavallee was accused of third-degree assault by the authorities, who claimed he meant to injure someone. He was freed on his own recognizance after being arrested and arraigned in Little Valley Town Court that same day. At 12:49 a.m. on January 26, after conducting an investigation, officials took 33-year-old Jarrod Patterson into custody.
