Following reports of a physical domestic conflict, officers from the Jamestown Police Department's Second Platoon arrived at a property on the city's south side at around 7:44 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Vehicle Strikes Pole, Driver Charged with DWAI in Fredonia

(WNY News Now) After reportedly hitting an electric pole and escaping the scene on Route 60 in Fredonia, a driver is facing several counts. Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a car collision with a power pole on Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret on January 3, 2025, at around 11:00 AM. Following the incident, witnesses said the driver left the site. Deputies' investigation revealed that the driver was Nicholas E. Mooney, a 31-year-old Fredonia resident. Authorities claim that Mooney was using drugs to impair his ability to operate the car (DWAI). When police arrived, they discovered that Dominick Harrison, 24, had physically abused a woman by snatching her by the throat and preventing her from breathing.
