A report of two male guests reportedly exposing themselves to hotel personnel prompted officers from the Jamestown Police Department's 3rd Platoon to react to a downtown hotel on the evening of December 19, 2024. Following an investigation, authorities determined that the victims were Amos W. Turner III, 68, of Alfred, and Thomas E. Odell, 54, of Jamestown. New York's Ellicot A third-degree criminal trespass prosecution was brought against Ellery resident Tobin S. Hagstrom, 46, on December 9, 2024, following an incident at the Fluvanna Library. Hagstrom tried to enter the library in violation of a trespass notice that had previously been issued forbidding him from being on the grounds, according to the Town of Ellicott Police. Officers from the Jamestown Police Department's 3rd Platoon began a normal street check at a shop on the city's north side on December 19, 2024, at around 1:07 a.m. They came upon Calvert J. Ortolano, a 19-year-old Jamestown resident with an active departmental arrest warrant, during the check.
