Skulls found on New Mexico property not related to missing woman case
The Lea County Sheriff's Office stated Thursday that skulls discovered on a New Mexico property earlier this month were acquired online and had nothing to do with the investigation of a lady who vanished in 2019.
As reported by the sheriff's office, a man with two bags who had been given a ride by someone in the county "made alarming statements and discarded objects from the vehicle, some of which appeared to be human bones."
According to the sheriff's office last week, human remains were discovered following a search of a property connected to the man in Jal, a city of around 2,000 people in the state's southeast.
