Five people are dead after multiple shootings that took place in three different homes in Wichita, Kansas. Just before 6 p.m. on Sunday, a 911 call reported a shooting on the 1700 block of Santa Fe, according to NBC affiliate in Wichita KSN . Officers responding to the residence found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound, the Wichita Police Department said in a statement. Shortly after, officers conducted a follow-up at another home just over half a mile away from the initial shooting scene. There, officers said they discovered three additional victims with apparent gunshot wounds, the statement said. Police then canvassed the neighborhood.
