Yellow Jackets basketball dominates at The Hive

In the first half of Tuesday's game, the York Cougars were restricted to 13 points by the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets boys varsity basketball team. Fort Mill had a commanding 55-19 lead at the end of three games. York was frequently forced to give up the ball by the Yellow Jackets' defense, which also sealed off the interior. The Cougars were compelled to attempt low percentage distance shots as a result. Fort Mill 67, York 28 was the final.Overall, Fort Mill improves to 5-1. Yellow Jackets basketball continues winning streak, Nation Ford splits

The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets boys varsity basketball team defeated Providence 73-51 on Tuesday night, improving to 3-0 on the season. From the beginning, the Yellow Jackets controlled the game. Jermier Nelson scored a career-high 20 points, and Logan Parker scored a career-high 26 points while shooting 10-11 from the field. This Saturday, Fort Mill will play Gaffney at home. Columbia, South Carolina The Gamecocks hosted Wofford College on Saturday night, which was senior night. South Carolina won 56–12, gaining 608 total offense yards and eight touchdowns. Just Redshirt Freshman Lanorris Sellers had three touchdowns and 307 yards. After the game, Sellers noted, "We had a lot of new packages and a lot of new stuff." We just did what you had to do with the injuries and other things starting with Tuesday's practice. Guys took charge and carried out their assigned tasks, and that's all you can ask for, really. COLUMBIA, SC — The University of South Carolina Gamecocks scored a thrilling game winning touchdown in the final seconds of Saturday’s game against the University of Missouri Tigers to go up 34-30. With 15 seconds left on the clock, LaNorris Sellers threw a 15-yard touchdown strike to Raheim “Rocket” Sanders for the go ahead score. The win moves the Gamecocks into 19th on the latest AP poll and it’s the fourth consecutive victory for the Gamecocks over Southeastern Conference foes.
