(WNY News Now) As the recognizable Pillar of Light shines brightly this Christmas season, join Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care for a heartfelt homage to loved ones.
The community is cordially invited by Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care to participate in this year’s Light a Life, a touching tradition of celebration and memory. This yearly event supports humane end-of-life care for local families and people while paying tribute to the memories of departed loved ones.
The renowned Pillar of Light will be beautifully illuminated as part of the Light a Life event, paying homage to the people we care about throughout the Christmas season. No purchase is required, and anyone in the community is welcome to submit the names of loved ones to be shown on the light tower.
Additionally, as part of the Light a Life initiative, Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care is offering two special memorial ornaments this year. These ornaments can be bought to support our efforts and make heartfelt mementos for remembering loved ones.
“This event is a treasured chance to remember and honor the loved ones who have impacted our lives,” Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care President & CEO Mike Testa stated. Particularly during the holidays, every ornament and name on the tower is a lovely reminder of the relationships we cherish.
Visitors can stroll alongside the light tower in remembrance of their loved ones during the Jamestown Christmas Parade, which will mark the structure’s premiere. It will be on display in the organization’s Lakewood office for the rest of the Christmas season following the procession.
