Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy Opens Innovative Pediatric Gym in Jamestown

(WNY News Now) Children with developmental issues can receive specialized treatment services from a brand-new, cutting-edge pediatric gym in Jamestown, which offers a fun and engaging approach to recovery.

Jamestown, New YorkThe Chautauqua Center, Inc.’s Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy is thrilled to announce the launch of its brand-new pediatric gym in Jamestown, New York.

This cutting-edge institution, which is devoted to meeting the developmental needs of kids with sensory and motor problems, is situated on the second level of 107 Institute Street. For children ages 0–8 with a variety of developmental challenges, therapists use the gym to provide a range of specialized treatments, such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy.

Among the amenities are:

  • Rock climbing walls
  • Monkey bars
  • Therapeutic trapeze bars with a variety of swings
  • Crash pits and pads
  • Zip lines and ladders
  • A two-story play structure with stairs, a slide, a ninja ramp, and designated areas for fine motor activities
  • A quiet space to support speech and language development

Every service is evidence-based and customized to each child’s unique requirements. The staff at Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy has worked with kids who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, drug exposure, developmental delay, torticollis, Down syndrome, and prematurity.
