Actress Cheryl Hines shared a graphic video of her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr. taking a shower behind her while she promoted her cosmetics company less than two months ago.
According to a recent financial declaration, Hines, of Curb Your Enthusiasm fame, has consented to stop selling the company’s goods in the event that her husband is appointed the next secretary of Health and Human Services.
According to the disclosure, my spouse has committed to Hines & Young, LLC ceasing to sell the company’s cosmetic inventory within ninety days after my appointment date.
Hines shared the video on Instagram in November along with the caption, “Oh Bobby.” Her head is purposefully obstructing portions of his body while he takes a shower in the background of the video.
It was strategically placed to advertise a sale ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and it received a lot of social media shares.
She posted a picture of the Hines + Young items after the video, including a candle with the phrase “MAHA” on it, alluding to Kennedy’s Make America Healthy Again campaign, which gained popularity after he left the presidential race and supported Donald Trump.
Kennedy revealed on Wednesday that he had a number of financial interests, including referral fees to law firms and consulting agreements, notably with the law firm WisnerBaum. The legal firm suing Merck over the HPV-preventive Gardasil vaccination.
“In contingency fee cases that are referred to the firm, I am eligible to collect 10% of the fees awarded. During my tenure as Secretary, I will not provide representative services in connection with these lawsuits, I am not an attorney of record for them, and I am not trying these cases,” the ethics filing said.
Additionally, he stated that he will be compensated under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.
“I will receive full and final reimbursement from WisnerBaum for all settled cases involving claims against the United States, including any claims filed under the VICP, prior to taking on the responsibilities of my post.
A Kennedy representative did not reply to a request for comment. Hines’ business was also contacted by NBC News.
