CHQ Chamber Appoints Staunzie Grady as Director of Events to Lead Countywide Initiatives

(WNY News Now) With creative planning and locally focused events, Chautauqua County’s newest Director of Events hopes to increase Chamber influence.

Staunzie Grady has been promoted to the newly created post of Director of Events, which the CHQ Chamber is happy to announce.

As a part-time Chamber Coordinator, Staunzie joined the Chamber’s staff in 2022 and has mainly worked in the Westfield and Mayville regions, specializing in event development, including the wildly popular First Fridays extension. In October, she also assisted in planning and running the inaugural Made in Falconer event.

The CHQ Chamber has added a new job called Director of Events, which will be responsible for organizing, managing, and developing all of the Chamber’s annual events. It entails coordinating locations, volunteers, and Chamber employees to carry out a range of events, no matter how big or little.

“Over the past two years, Staunzie has demonstrated herself to be a person who is highly skilled in event planning and dedicated to the work we are doing at the CHQ Chamber to provide events that meet our mission and make a difference for local businesses,” stated Daniel Heitzenrater, president and CEO of the CHQ Chamber. We are thrilled to promote Staunzie to this role because, in addition to her diverse skill set, she has a strong desire to help the local business community.

As Ms. Grady pointed out, I have previously enjoyed collaborating with a range of community committees on a number of CHQ Chamber events, and I am eager to maintain those connections and broaden that work throughout the entire county. I want to make sure that every event we plan and publicize benefits our Chamber members.
