(WNY News Now) – The City of Olean’s Public Works Department has announced an emergency water main repair that will disrupt water service and close a section of Irving Street temporarily.
The City of Olean Department of Public Works Water Distribution Division is undertaking an emergency water main repair that will affect Irving Street between its intersection with South Union Street and the intersection with North Second Street.
Effective immediately the water to Irving Street between South Union Street and South Second Street will be off. Irving Street from South Union Street to South Second Street will be closed while work is being performed.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes where available. Water will be off approximately 2-3 hours beginning immediately.
