(WNY News Now) After being accused of trespassing and breaking a stay-away order of protection at a local company, a Falconer resident faces legal ramifications.
New York’s Ellicott. Amra Y. Cuhel, 34, of Falconer has been arrested by the Town of Ellicott Police Department on suspicion of trespassing and criminal contempt in the second degree. Police went to a trespassing report on January 11 and made the arrest.
Authorities claim that Cuhel was discovered on a site that she had previously been told to avoid. Subsequent inquiry showed that she was not allowed to be at the premises, which is the protected party’s place of employment, due to a court-issued stay-away order of protection.
After being arrested on the spot, Cuhel was transferred to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment. She will address the charges against her when she appears in Town of Ellicott Court later.
The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
