According to a police spokesperson, officers arrived at the 6100 block of West Century Boulevard close to the Los Angeles International Airport around 4 a.m. on Sunday to investigate a deceased.
According to authorities, the inquiry showed that Hannah Kobayashi’s father, Ryan Kobayashi, 58, had committed suicide.
On November 8, Ryan Kobayashi, a resident of Honolulu, and other family members were in Los Angeles looking for Hannah Kobayashi, who had flown to the city from her home state of Hawaii. According to her aunt Larie Pidgeon, she had less than an hour to reach her departure terminal when traveling to New York City, and she missed a subsequent flight. While waiting for another trip, Hannah Kobayashi chose to explore the area, according to her relatives.
Hannah Kobayashi was filmed at a Nike event on November 10 at The Grove shopping area, which is roughly 12 miles north of Los Angeles International Airport. However, her family reported receiving alarming text messages from her phone in the days that followed.

Security footage on Pico Boulevard and Hill Street in downtown Los Angeles showed Kobayashi with someone, raising concerns, according to a Facebook post made on November 15 by the RAD Movement, a nonprofit organization that works to find missing persons in San Diego County, California.
