From War Photography to Feline Fun: A Month of Must-See Films at The Reg Lenna Center for The Arts

(WNY News Now) – The Reg Lenna Center for the Arts is bringing a unique mix of cinema to Jamestown this November, from the poignant drama “Lee” to the internet-famous CatVideoFest.

Lee (Wed., Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.) the directorial feature from award-winning Cinematographer Ellen Kuras, portrays a pivotal decade in the life of American war correspondent and photographer, Lee Miller (Kate Winslet). Miller had a profound understanding and empathy for women and the voiceless victims of war. Her images display both the fragility and ferocity of the human experience. Lee is rated R and is 117 minutes long.
Oscilloscope Laboratories presents CatVideoFest 2024 (Sat., Nov. 16 at 2 p.m.) a compilation of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. 10% of ticket sales benefit Chautauqua County Humane Society, who will be in the lobby with some furry, feline friends. CatVideoFest 2024is unrated and is 75 minutes long.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include the biographical comedy about the first episode of SNL Saturday Night (Nov. 20 at 7 p.m.), the animated adventure The Wild Robot (Nov. 23 at 2 p.m.), Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield in the romantic comedy-drama We Live in Time (Dec. 11 at 7 p.m.) and the 2003 romantic comedy Love Actually (Dec. 20 at 7 p.m.)Tickets for most Movies at The Reg are $8 in-person at the box office and $10 online (reglenna.com) & by phone – 716.484.7070. Family showings are $7 in-person at the box office and $9 online & by phone. Special engagements are priced differently. The theater and box office at The Reg are located at 116 E. 3rd St. in Jamestown, NY. The box office is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 12 – 5 p.m. and one hour before movies and events.
