Grandmother Arrested After Domestic Dispute With Granddaughter

(WNY News Now) Sheriff Eric A. Butler reports that a Little Valley woman was taken into custody early on November 25, 2024, after a domestic dispute involving her granddaughter.

After officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance on November 25, 2024, at around 4:09 AM, Sarah L. Foster, 52, of 412 Fair Oak Street, Little Valley, NY, was placed under arrest. Investigation revealed that Foster was the one who started the fight with her grandchild.

Deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office took Foster into custody and took him to a processing facility. For violating New York State Penal Laws 260.10-1 and 240.26-1, which deal with harassing and endangering the welfare of a child, she was later given an appearance ticket.

Foster will appear before the Town of Little Valley Court later for additional legal proceedings after being released on the appearance ticket. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
